Inilah diriku: Tudung

Bismillah.

Salam.

Kali ini, saya rasa nak blog in malay. Sebab rasa macam lagi best kot blog pasal perkara ni dalam bahasa ibunda. Lagi,, apa orang kata tu,, lagi feel..? hoho. dan of course, bila aku blog in malay, memang akan jadi panjang entri ni. Maka, bersedialah!

Global March to Jerusalem 2012; 30 March.

Bismillah.
Salam.

Global March to Jerusalem 2012. Several countries have participated and Malaysia is one of them.

Alhamdulillah, last Friday, Allah has given me an opportunity to participate in Malaysia's GMJ at Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam. My sister (Safiah) and I went there by bus, with a few of our friends and seniors and pakcik-makcik from Ikram Johor.

This program was held to unite everyone in this whole world regardless of their religion or race, to stand up for justice on Palestinians' right. The Palestinians have been suppressed by the Zionists for decades. More info here. Therefore, we should support the Palestinians to fight for their right, which is actually, also our right as Muslims, because the Zionists have forbid us to step in Jerusalem to visit the 3rd holiest mosque, Al-Aqsa.

Ehem. Alright, let's move on to the pictures from the GMJ event.

The MCs were Ally Iskandar and Iman (AlHijrahTV)

The Palestine's flag and Malaysia flag.

The audiences.

The stage. I sat on the right side of the stadium, and a bit in front. So I can't really see the stage.
Luckily there were two large screens on each sides of the stage to help audiences like me to see clearly.

During Mirwana's performance. The audiences light their phone. Now the lights look like stars :)

Singing Freedom by Maher Zain together. One of the Palestinians gave a few appreciative words :')

'Ala kulli hal, alhamdulillah.
I'm grateful that Allah had planned that I sit very near to the Palestinians who also came that night. They sat only a few rows back from my seat. I hope some of their spirit would be blown towards me. hohoh.
It suddenly felt so real.

The Palestine issue is real.
and it is serious.

As I watched the performances and listened to the speeches, I was a bit ashamed of myself. Some of the performers that night were younger than me. Yet, they had contribute something. While I just sat at the audience's seat. Some of the people who gave speech were non-Muslim. Their speeches are, marvellous. I am a Muslim. Have I ever spoke up for the Palestinians? So far, not yet.

But I am glad I joined the event that night. At least I was included among the people who present to support Palestine. The Palestinians were very touched that night, you see.

For those who couldn't come, not coming doesn't mean you're not supporting, right? We can always pray for them :)

"Allahummansuril Islam wal muslimin wal mujahidin fi Falastin wa fi kulli makaan, wa kulli zamaan."

The remarkable yell that night;
From the rivers to the sea
Palestine will be free!

Insya-Allah.
May Allah lend us some strength so that we can contribute to the ummah. Amiin.

Thank you Allah.
Thank you abah for letting Safiah and I go to this event, even giving us permission to use your camera.
Thank you mama for letting us go too.
Thank you Safiah.
Thank you IKRAM Johor for providing the bus.
Thank you Kak Myra for taking care of us before, during and after the ride.
Thank you friends; Liyana, Athirah Kahar, Hamizah and Sakinah SK. Nice meeting you guys ;)
Thank you everyone.
and for the friends who also went there but takda jodoh to meet up, insya-Allah we'll meet again another time.

That's all to share I guess.
Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal.
